Welcome to the Active & Safe Routes to School Thematic Units!

Come surf through a resource developed especially for you to help students learn more about Active Living, Personal Safety and the Environment via a program called Active & Safe Routes to School (A&SRTS)!

Active & Safe Routes to School is a national, child-centered program developed, implemented and maintained by Greenest City in Ontario, Way to Go! in British Columbia, and Go for Green and its partners in the rest of Canada. A&SRTS encourages the safe use of active modes of transportation - like walking, cycling, scooting, skating or wheeling - to and from school.

This resource, you are about to browse through, was developed in partnership with the New Brunswick Lung Association, Teaching Professionals and Go for Green, a non-profit organization encouraging active living and environmental stewardship. Thanks for everyone's contribution!
